About Us
Multi-process Integration With Integrity
Weldmac specializes in complex, large-format assemblies that combine forming, machining, welding, and laser processing into fully integrated structures.
Our leadership culture emphasizes continuous advancement — adopting new technologies, expanding forming capability up to 800 tons, and pursuing projects that demand tighter tolerances and greater structural complexity. The result is hardware designed for vibration, thermal stress, and extreme load environments.
History & Experience
Founded in 1968 and acquired by PennAero Aerospace in April 2023, Weldmac has built a reputation as a premier supplier of large-scale, precision-formed and welded assemblies.
For more than 50 years, Weldmac has pursued increasingly demanding fabrication challenges — seeking closer tolerances, more complex geometries, and higher structural performance standards. Today, Weldmac serves aerospace, defense, power-generation, and space launch customers from its multi-building campus in El Cajon, California.
Certified to AS9100D, Weldmac’s quality system spans planning, procurement, fabrication, inspection, and first article validation.
The quality department is engaged throughout the entire production lifecycle — ensuring traceability, conformance, and readiness for flight-critical applications.
Unrivaled Quality
- PRI AS9100 D / ISO 9001:2015
- NADCAP for Welding
- NADCAP Nonconventional Machining
- Dozens of Weld certifications kept and maintained for individual customer requirements.
Weldmac also obtains additional certifications as jobs require.
